Let us now turn to a more personal view of the land. We will
start on the far reaches of Hobbiton on the path that Gandalf's cart takes as
he enters Hobbiton in The Fellowship of the Ring.
Bywater Road - 75%
complete
The road is said to be a total of about 30 miles in length.
Running through the Shire connecting Hobbiton, Little Delving, Nobottle, and
Needlehole.
Making the final turn down Bywater Road toward Hobbiton you'll see Sandyman's Mill up ahead.
+ Need to introduce some meandering turns through the woods.
+Expand out off of the road with some rolling hills and trees for a Hobbit to read under.
Sandyman's Mill - 80%

A quaint little mill on the outskirts of Hobbiton situated off of Bywater Road.
A view from a nearby dock looking at toward the watermill and Ferny's Fen.
+ Need to create an interior space.
Bywater Bridge - 100%
complete
Along Bywater Road we come to a bridge aptly named Bywater
Bridge. Spanning The Water near Sandyman's Mill. This double arched bridge is wide enough to accommodate a wizard on a cart.
Green Dragon - 95% complete
"There's only one Dragon in Bywater, and that's
Green." - Ted Sandyman
The Green Dragon is a great inn that exists across the pool. As with the plans for Bag End I was fortunate enough to find a photo someone took of a posted map from within the establishment. Once again I took some liberties, including the removal of the restrooms.
The shear scale of the inn along with the fact its above ground really makes this structure stand out more than others.
